5 STEPS TO A SUCCESSFUL DESIGN PROCESS
1. Getting to know the client
Getting to know the client is an integral part of the successful design process. Understanding a client’s wants and needs and representing them in the final product almost always ensures client satisfaction.
2. Brainstorming
Doodle. We love to doodle. There is nothing better to get the creative juices flowing than doodling. Quite often we surprise ourselves with what we come up. Quick sketches of what we envision provide an efficient way of pointing us in the right direction.
3. Mockups
After we have brainstormed several ideas, we start to convert those ideas into graphic images on the computer using industry leading tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and several other programs. We send these mockups to clients who are free to choose, or refuse the designs.
4. Fine Tuning
Once a mockup is chosen, we take into consideration any inputs the client has to offer to ensure our product is sending out the right message. Every step of the way, we keep our clients up to date with our progress.
5. After Sales Support
We make sure we don’t abandon our clients once a product is complete and handed over to them, especially when it comes to dealing with websites. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure that the product we have created remains up to our standards and the expectations of our clients.
Case Study: Mehta Brothers Pvt. Ltd. Logo
Step 1: Getting to know the client
Mehta Brothers Pvt. Ltd is the leading supplier of Animal Nutrition Products in Pakistan. In order to get to know the company, we got to know the market it was catering to. After surveying the market and our clients needs, we both decided that a logo in Urdu/Arabic would better connect with their clients.
